Spotlight Group Holding (SGH) is now one of Australia’s largest privately owned and operated businesses, encompassing 4 main branches.

Our dedicated support teams are located at the SRG Support Group in South Melbourne, Ningbo, China, Manukau, New Zealand, and Kuala Lumpur. These teams include buyers, operations, logistics, marketing, customer service, property, accounting, administration, and information technology, which support all retail outlets within the Spotlight Retail Group brands.

SPG is responsible for all new site identification for our retail brands, as well as the planning, leasing, maintenance and renovation of the existing portfolio, and acquisitions and divestments.

The SPG portfolio covers approximately 1,500,000m² of land, over 400 individual tenancies and 55 assets with a focus of edge of centre assets, neighbourhood centres, large format, residential opportunities, hotels and service centres.

Alara funds a significant portfolio of property finance transactions and has facilitated the development of a range of mostly residential projects throughout Australia in recent years.

Beyond property finance, Alara invests in a variety of diversified investments, including venture capital, private equity, direct local and international equities, managed funds and other alternative investments.

Alara is a patient, long term investor focused on absolute as opposed to index relative investment returns.
